BLOOM – First Transnational meeting

The First 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗠 Transnational Partners Meeting took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 3rd and 4th of July 2023.

The partnership between Netwerkpro and Caregivers is strong and ready to further develop the activities of the project. It was the first time that the teams met in person and it was a great opportunity to get to know each other, debate about the next steps and the design of the project, exchange experience and information about local context.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

The project ‘𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗠 – 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀’ aims at contributing to the social and professional empowerment of vulnerable mothers in Romania and the Netherlands while improving the skills of professionals in non- formal adult education with regard to this target group. This is a unique collaboration between a Dutch (Netwerkpro) and a Romanian (Caregivers) organisation to increase capability in developing effective programs and reaching target groups. The partners will develop a flexible training toolkit, wich will be tested during two pilot programs, one in Amsterdam and one in Bucharest..

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀

At the outset of the sessions the team had the opportunity to discuss together and draw a conclusion on the method objectives and main target group. In a second moment the team had the pleasure to have Jacobien Geuze, Netwerkpro’s specialized trainer, as a guest. Jacobien supported the team on the discussion about the training topics and themes, building up the path and sessions matters that the method is going to cover. Namely, the team succeeded in drawing up a foundation and a framework for the method that will be developed.

Suffice it to say that it was a fruitful discussion, build up with the contribution of all present parties, for the benefit of the vulnerable adult single mothers.
